Costs

The cost of a luxury safari staying in our mobile tented camps varies considerably depending on the size of the group, the itinerary, and the air charters required.

Very roughly a two week private guided safari in 2007 staying in our luxury mobile tented camps would cost from about $13,500 per person for a group of twelve people, to $16,500 per person for a group of four people (rates change from 16th December 2007).

The cost of a similar safari staying in luxury permanent tented camps and lodges depends on the size of the group and the camps and lodges chosen. However, typically it would be from about $12,500 per person for a group of four people, and would cost more for smaller groups, and less for groups larger than ten people.

All our safari rates include accommodation, meals, park fees, game drives in custom-built 4-wheel-drive safari vehicles, professional guide costs, most drinks and laundry when in private camp. They do not include gratuities or the cost of air charters.

PLEASE NOTE: We do not organise set departures (“open” safaris with a fixed itinerary that one, two or more people may join).
All our safaris are custom designed to suit the specific requirements of the group (such as age and interests). Because we are contacted once a group has been formed, all group members usually know each other, and all group members know at least one other person in the group before planning the safari. These safari groups often consist of one or two families, or a group of friends. Group size can be anything from one or two people to sixteen people, or very occasionally more.

If you would like to know more about our safaris, please contact us.
